White Ribbon Day: Swear To Make A Difference

November 25 is White Ribbon Day and MSS Security is asking all employees to join us in swearing to end violence against women by supporting this movement’s valuable work.

MSS Security’s Aviation, South Australian and Victorian security officers will be wearing the movement’s signature white ribbon on their uniforms to promote White Ribbon Day’s work.

This is the second year the Victorian team has been involved and we are pleased to be able to spread White Ribbon’s important message even further around Australia in 2016.

Wherever you are in Australia, MSS Security encourages you to support White Ribbon Day; for instance, buying a White Ribbon or other merchandise, hosting a fundraising event, or taking the official Oath to stand up, speak out and act to prevent men’s violence against women.

Women are an important, valued and growing part of the MSS Security team, and we want to ensure that security is something that is available not just to them, but to women everywhere.

Supporting charities dedicated to helping women is just part of MSS Security’s award-winning campaign to attract more women to the company and promote gender equality in the security industry and the broader Australian community.

White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity. It is achieving these aims through education, awareness raising, creative campaigns, preventative programs and partnerships.
