University of Newcastle – Security Officer of the Year Awards

MSS Security is proud to celebrate another outstanding year supporting the University of Newcastle. Throughout 2025, our team demonstrated professionalism, resilience, and unwavering commitment during a year marked by major events, increased activism, and several critical incidents.

Our team delivered:
✔ 34k+ calls and 20k emails
✔ 41k+ security activities
✔ 330+ potential incidents prevented
✔ 2,200+ incidents responded to
✔ 25k safe shuttle transports
✔ #1 in the SFUN Student Satisfaction Survey for the 4th year running (93.1%)
✔ A new five-year contract supporting long-term stability

We also strengthened on‑site leadership with new operational roles and deeper integration with the University’s emergency management and preparedness initiatives.
