Spring Carnival 2023 is Well Upon Us

As one of the busiest weeks in our major events calendar approaches, MSS Security is looking forward to the world-famous Melbourne Cup Carnival held by the Victoria Racing Club (VRC), seeing four of the biggest and best race meetings in the world, and keeping our major events team with plenty to do!

Among the calendar of events, the highlight of this wonderful week of racing for many is of course the Melbourne Cup, held on the first Tuesday in November as it has done so since 1875. This special day also sees the running of the MSS Security Subzero Handicap, a 1400m race.

With over 240,00 spectators expected to attend over the course of the carnival, including international guests, celebrity VIPs and interstate visitors, our team of dedicated security and event personnel will have a great deal to manage throughout each event. The success of the 8-day carnival highlights its “world-class event” status and is a testament to our on-site team who have continued to demonstrate their commitment to excellence by servicing the Victoria Racing Club, as they have done for over 40 years.
