MSS Security expands services with Atlas Iron

MSS Security has successfully secured a new contract with Atlas Iron, for security services with its Port Hedland Port Authority operations at Utah Point Stockyard 2.

Stockyard 2 at Utah Point is the receivable and storage point for Iron Ore that is transported by road haulage from four (4) mines operated by Atlas Iron in the Port Hedland area. The Stockyard and the mines provide Atlas with the capacity to export 15 million tonnes of bulk minerals per annum.

The Stockyard was developed by Atlas to support their expanded production and to integrate with their existing Yard 1 stockyards and ship loading.

MSS security officers will be providing a range of gatehouse duties which include access control, on site incident reporting and drug and alcohol testing. The Stockyard is one of the busiest stockyards in Western Australia and MSS Security looks forward to our security officers demonstrating their experience and service capability in this environment.
