MSS Security Employee Training Scholarship Announcement

Dear Colleagues,

MSS Security, in partnership with Asset College, is delighted to announce to our employees that we have launched an industry-first training initiative providing over 500 Certificate II training scholarships and employment for suitable persons wishing to enter the security industry.

The MSS Security Scholarship Program will run Australia-wide and support suitable individuals to complete the CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations or AVI20118 Certificate II in Transport Security Protection. Successful graduates will be on-boarded to the MSS Security team whilst awaiting their security licence.

“MSS Security is serious about employing only the best candidates, and this investment of over $1 million a year will provide new employment opportunities into the industry and importantly will support our diversity objectives, with a minimum of 5% of candidates to be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background and 25% female candidates,” said MSS Security’s Managing Director Geoff Alcock.

“This initiative will widen our professional cohort through the provision of required training to those with non-traditional backgrounds and transferrable skills, and provide a long-term pipeline of quality-trained and job-ready candidates.”

How To Get Involved?

MSS Security is proud to have a rich and diverse culture, and it is our objective to continue building on this. We are excited for employees to get involved by referring people who you believe would be great MSS employees and Security Professionals and be rewarded!

For every referral we appoint to a role, you will receive a $100 gift voucher. If they stay for six months following commencement in their role, you will receive a further $200 gift voucher.

As a part of our diversity strategies, if the candidate you refer is female, indigenous, or both, you will receive a $250 gift voucher at commencement and a further $250 gift voucher after six months.

To start referring, please complete the Referral Program Form for each person you nominate here.

Once you have submitted your referral, please share the Scholarship Expression of Interest link available here with the person you have nominated for them to fill out their details.

Please direct any questions regarding this exciting program to your State HR team.
