Inspiring Women of MSS Security

On Wednesday 3rd July, MSS Security hosted its first ‘Women of MSS Security’ event in Melbourne. With over 50 women in attendance, the evening provided the perfect platform to celebrate, engage and connect with other women in the security industry.

The evening’s agenda included an inspiring discussion with two of MSS Security’s female clients and MSS Security’s Museums Victoria Security Coordinator, Elle, who also formed part of the panel and shared her view on a range of topics relevant to our female Security Officers.

Following the panel discussion, representatives from our Victorian HR and Recruitment team, Sandra and Farisha spoke about MSS Security’s latest recruitment strategies and highlighted ways in which we can all contribute towards our goal to increase the number of women working in the organisation to 25% by 2020.

Feedback from attendees stated that the evening was “inspiring”, “engaging”, “validating” and “well overdue”, validating the initiative and further supporting MSS Security’s commitment towards expanding its workforce to include more women.
