Empowering Change | Michelle Metcalfe Joins SMR as First Female Supervisor!

MSS Strategic Medical and Rescue are thrilled to announce that Michelle has joined our team as the first female Supervisor in our longstanding partnership with BHP Mitsubishi Alliance in the Bowen Basin, Central Queensland.

Michelle, an Auxiliary Firefighter turned mining professional, joined us in December 2023. Her self-driven nature and can-do attitude led her to complete her Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response and Rescue on her own.

We are proud to welcome such motivated and talented women to our team and the mining industry. Welcome, Michelle!
