Celebrating Excellence with the GO Foundation

On Tuesday, 26 November 2024, MSS Security was honoured to attend the Go Foundation Class of 2024 Celebration at the beautiful Refectory/ Holme Building at Sydney University.

The evening was an inspiring tribute to the incredible achievement of the Sydney and Canberra student cohort, as they graduated from Primary School, High School, and University. Seeing the joy and pride on the faces of graduates and their families was truly heartwarming.

The event was graced by the presence of Founders Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlin, alongside the dedicated GO Foundation team, including Sonja Stewart, Charlene Davison, Mark Heiss, Jay Wathen, and many more passionate staff members.

The celebration began with a Traditional Smoking Ceremony, cultural dance, music, and storytelling – a powerful reminder of the importance of culture and identity in shaping the next generation. This was followed by the Graduation Ceremony, which featured inspiring tributes to each cohort’s journey and accomplishments.

MSS Security is incredibly proud to partner with the GO Foundation, whose scholarships provide Indigenous students with essential support in education, culture, identity, and opportunities for their future.
