BHP Billiton Iron Ore

MSS Security Western Australia and MSS Strategic Medical are pleased to report that we have been successful in our submission to BHP Billiton Iron Ore to deliver security, paramedical and emergency services. We will operate as the sole provider for these services to BHPBIO’s mining operations across WA’s Pilbara region. BHPBIO is one of the world’s leading iron ore producers, with its principal iron ore operations based in the Pilbara region of northern WA. The operation comprises a complex integrated system of seven inland mining operations, more than 1,000km of rail, stock yards and two separate port facilities located in Port Hedland. This prestigious contract is a great opportunity to further increase our presence both in the Pilbara region and with the top tier Australian mining companies.

The win is significant for the West Australian and Strategic Medical teams and will result in a contract value of over $10 million per annum with a five year term and positions for 44 Security Officers and 25 Paramedics and Emergency Service Officers across the seven mine sites, rail network and exploration sites where we will be operational.
