Our partnership with other organisations ensures that we are constantly updated and advised on proposed legislative amendments or changes enabling us to be proactive and effect change accordingly.

MSS Security was pleased to be named as a winner of the HRD 2022 5-Star Employer of Choice award.
Organisations of all sizes and across all industries in Australia were encouraged to participate. Entries were scored on the companies’ achievements and initiatives
across a range of areas, including leadership, learning and development, wellbeing, flexibility, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance, and recruitment.
The review board considered both qualitative and quantitative data, such as engagement survey results, average employee tenure, and turnover rate. In 2022, 35 companies have been commended for their achievements and selected as HRD’s Employers of Choice, and MSS Security couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this group. We extend our congratulations to all the 2022 5-Star Employer of Choice award recipients.

The ABA Employer of Choice award celebrates workplaces that maximise the full potential of their employees. The initiatives that MSS Security showcased as part of its 2019 nomination included:
Each year the ABA recognises business and product innovation. Corporate, government and non-government organisations are honoured for implementing well-managed, industry-leading initiatives, and for the research and development of high-performing products and service.
MSS Security was delighted to be named a ‘2018 Employer of Choice’ by HRD magazine.
We were selected as a Top Performing Company in the Access to Technology category.

MSS Security’s Major Events team in Victoria won the Outstanding Security Partnership category of the 3rd annual Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPA) in 2017.
The OSPAs are an international initiative, which makes Major Events’ achievement all the more noteworthy.

In 2018 MSS Security’s People and Culture (P&C) team was named an Innovative HR Team by HRD magazine for the second time.
The new MSS Security Recognition and Reward program, a key pillar of the 2020 People and Culture Plan, was the initiative that won P&C a place on the 2018 list, which shines a spotlight on the organisations leading the way in innovating and setting new benchmarks for the Australian human resources industry.
The judges noted: “Reward and recognition is a central part of MSS Security’s 2020 P&C plan and is critical to the company reaching its attraction and engagement goals and performance and L&D targets. The recent introduction of a dedicated People and Culture page on the relaunched MSS Security website allows anyone who has had a positive experience with an MSS Security employee to nominate that person online.”
The P&C team was also one of only 30 to make HR Directors (HRD) magazine’s inaugural list of Innovative HR Teams in March 2016.
What set the P&C team apart from others was that it “likes to challenge the status quo, stir the pot and make managers a little uncomfortable, and ask ‘why’ said HRD.
Unlike many human resources professionals, the P&C team must also measure its performance and successes against a set of KPIs related to the MSS Security financial success.
As a result, “the company recognises that every decision made by HR will impact on the business this quarter, this financial year, and so on” said HRD. “In HRD’s book, that equates to an innovative view of HR and its potential.”
