MSS Security’s Aviation Division continues to grow

MSS Security’s Aviation division continues to grow adding two new clients to its portfolio; Coffs Harbour Regional Council, with services at Coffs Harbour Airport and United Parcel Service (UPS) with air cargo screening services at Botany Bay.

We are proud to welcome Coffs Harbour Airport back to the MSS Security family after an 18 month absence. The Airport now has approximately 400,000 passengers pass through its facilities each year, servicing Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Qantas Link, Virgin Australia and Tigerair. A modernised Screening Point which was newly designed for the launch has also been completed.

UPS at Botany Bay Screening Facility is the only facility in Australia servicing its fleet of MD-11 freighters out of Sydney. UPS operate 10 services a week and process over 500,000 parcels each year.

The start-up for both operations was a tremendous success with no issues throughout the launch. The client feedback on both fronts was very positive with particular praise on the training and delivery method from our Aviation Training Department.
