MSS Security has successfully secured a three (3) year contract at Melbourne Airport with Air India. Air India commenced its inaugural services to Melbourne with its new B787 Dreamliner. The B787 Dreamliner is Air India’s latest introduction to their fleet and the aircraft will operate direct to New Dehli from Melbourne four (4) days a week, and three (3) days a week via Sydney.
MSS Security looks forward to supporting Air India on the launch of their new services to Australia. Our contract role will be to provide aircraft guarding and secondary screening at Melbourne Airport and we will be using our capability and resources to provide Air India with a premium service.
Air India last operated flights to Australia in 1997 and with the increasing number of travellers flying to India, the airline has reintroduced its services into the country with an aircraft that has lower operating costs and better economic performance.
This is a great alignment to our parent company SIS in India and we would like to congratulate all members involved in securing the win.
