Tying the knot with Tasports

MSS Security is proud to announce that its formal tender with Tasports has been successful and the group is retaining the contract for up to five (5) years. The new contract date is effective as of 1st October 2013.

Tasports (The Tasmanian Ports Corporation Pty Ltd) is a registered private company owned by the Tasmanian Government. Their responsibilities include the operations and management of all ports in Tasmania.

Our contract role at Tasports will include all maritime security functions, roles and tasks for all Tasports ports throughout Tasmania, including the cruise ship season and fuel and cargo ships coming in and out of their ports. This contract will see employment opportunities for over 40 MSS Security staff.

Our innovative strategies for improved business solutions formed a key component of our successful tender. Our focus on communications, health, safety and environmental factors also played a large part in our proposed solution as well as implementing suitable provisions for Cruise Ship days.
