Celebrating 50 Years of NAIDOC: Strong, Deadly, Proud

Across Australia, MSS Security teams came together to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2026, embracing opportunities to listen, learn, connect and celebrate the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

From attending community events, cultural workshops and flag-raising ceremonies to sponsoring industry celebrations and supporting Indigenous businesses, our teams participated in a diverse range of experiences that reinforced the importance of respect, understanding and meaningful engagement.

From Coomaditchie in NSW, the Jerrabomberra Wetlands in the ACT, weaving workshops in Queensland, cultural art experiences in Victoria, community celebrations in South Australia, meaningful partnerships in Western Australia and a flag-raising ceremony at Risdon Cove in Tasmania, every event provided an opportunity to strengthen our collective commitment to reconciliation and cultural understanding.

As we mark 50 years of NAIDOC, we’re proud to stand alongside communities across the country in celebrating the enduring strength, resilience and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
